The Sims 2 Seasons Expansion Pack Serial Code: A Step-by-Step Tutorial

Eleven expansion packs were released for the 2009 life simulation video game The Sims 3, the third major title in The Sims series. Of the eleven expansion packs, seven were developed by Maxis Redwood Shores, while the other four were developed by EA Salt Lake.[19] All expansion packs were published by Electronic Arts. Expansion packs tend to focus on major new features, with the addition of many new objects, worlds, and game features geared towards the pack's major theme. The first expansion pack, World Adventures, was released on November 18, 2009. The last expansion pack, Into the Future, was released on October 22, 2013.

The pack focuses on traveling to various areas in a manner similar to previous expansions The Sims: Vacation and The Sims 2: Bon Voyage. Sims are able to travel to fictional locations set in France, China, and Egypt. At these locations, Sims are able to go on adventures to earn rewards. Sims are also able to level up in new skills: photography, martial arts, and nectar making.[23] The expansion also added a new life state, the mummy, which can be added to a household through several means.

GamePro argued the pack's only bad feature was being able to make players lose several hours in the addictive gameplay.[28] IGN's Steve Butts criticized the adventure-based gameplay and the difficulty of having family vacations, however, he concluded, "I hope World Adventures sets the pattern for future Sims expansions."[29]

World Adventures was listed as seventh in a list of the top ten selling PC games (expansion pack) of 2009, according to NPD sales charts. The Sims 3 was listed as the highest selling game of 2009.[30]

The Sims 3: Ambitions is the second expansion pack for The Sims 3, released in North America on June 1, 2010. Ambitions introduces new professions that can be actively controlled by the player, unlike the careers in the base game.[33] A variety of new skills are also added alongside the ability to register as self employed for skills.[33] The expansion also added a new world, Twinbrook.

Associate producer Grant Rodiek explained that career-based gameplay was something that the team had always wanted to do. "We always strive to do something new that hasn't been seen in The Sims before."[34] Rodiek explained the main focus of an expansion pack relied on three elements: community feedback, what the development team wants to do and software limitations.[35][36]

The Sims 3: Late Night is the third expansion pack for The Sims 3, announced on July 20, 2010, and released in North America on October 26, 2010.[41] and is similar to The Sims 2: Nightlife and The Sims: Hot Date, as well as incorporating elements from The Sims: Superstar and The Urbz: Sims in the City.

The Sims 3: Pets is the fifth expansion pack for The Sims 3 on Microsoft Windows and macOS, as well as a standalone title on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS. It was released on all platforms in North America on October 18, 2011. The pack re-introduces pets such as cats and dogs. The PC/Mac expansion pack additionally adds horses, a first for the series. It serves as the spiritual successor to The Sims 2: Pets and The Sims: Unleashed.

The Sims 3: Showtime is the sixth expansion pack for The Sims 3, released in North America on March 6, 2012. A limited Collector's Edition includes exclusive in-game content such as a stage and two costumes, along with a poster based on American singer Katy Perry.[65][66]

The Sims 3: Seasons is the eighth expansion pack for The Sims 3, released in North America on November 13, 2012.[77] Like Generations, Seasons does not come with a new world.

Seasons adds new clothes like snow gear, swimwear, and raincoats. It adds filters in Create-a-Sim, which allow the player to find clothing from a certain expansion or stuff pack. Clothing from the base game, expansions, stuff packs, and the store will be updated to be selectable as outerwear.[78]

The Sims 3: University Life is the ninth expansion pack for The Sims 3, released in North America on March 5, 2013, coinciding with the release of another Maxis title, SimCity. It is the spiritual successor to The Sims 2: University.

The Sims 3: Island Paradise is the tenth expansion pack for The Sims 3, released in North America on June 25, 2013. Island Paradise is a vacation and adventure-themed expansion, similar to The Sims: Vacation, The Sims 2: Bon Voyage, and World Adventures. It was created by .

Island Paradise was announced during a live broadcast on January 8, 2013, where a full line up of upcoming expansion packs and stuff packs of the 2013 year were revealed. Several live broadcasts were later presented and each demonstrated new features, such houseboats, resort system, underwater diving and hidden islands.[89][90][91][92]

The Game Scouts gave the pack a positive score of 9 out of 10, saying: "Island Paradise arrives ideally at the start of Summer. The pack integrates excellently with other expansions like Seasons. While at first glance it may seem like a targeted release, it's all-encompassing in its reach and offers something for every player."[94]

The Sims 2: Deluxe Edition (also known as The Sims 2: Deluxe) is a compilation which contains The Sims 2 base game, The Sims 2: Nightlife expansion pack, and some Maxis-made downloadable content from The Sims 2 exchange, such as the race car decor. It also includes a bonus DVD which has tutorials, tips, and etc.

The Sims 2: Best of Business Collection contains the original The Sims 2: Open for Business expansion pack, The Sims 2: H&M Fashion Stuff, and The Sims 2: Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff. It contains a total of 265 new items for Sims to use and interact with.

The Ultimate Collection includes all expansions and stuff packs for The Sims 2, regardless of whether or not the player owned them before, along with all of the game patches. There is no information about when the collection will be released to non-Origin players.

The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection uses the icon for The Sims 2: Mansion & Garden Stuff, launches from "Sims2EP9.exe" (the same as Mansion & Garden Stuff), and the main menu uses the Mansion & Garden Stuff logo. However, the initial loading screen shows the logo for The Sims 2: Fun with Pets Collection. This is because Ultimate Collection is largely a compilation of compilations. It includes Double Deluxe and the University Life, Best of Business, and Fun with Pets collections, as well as the expansion and stuff packs that are not part of these collections.[2]

Hello I've been playing The Sims since the original Sims, it's my favorite game ever and I have the original full collection of The Sims (one) and I have The Sims 2 with 2 expansion packs (University and Nightlife). Needless to say that I bought The Sims 3 and one expansion The Sims 3: University life.

I recently moved to a new house and I lost plenty of my stuff in the moving or I just can't find them yet, I believe I will tho. One of the things I lost was half of my Sims collection, The Sims 2 and its expansions and The Sims 3 and University Life. I do have the disks of The Sims 2 but I can't install those since the Product Key isn't in the disk... (not cool EA). OK OK... the point is that I wanna register online but I can't since I lost my registration code/product key, is there any way I can register?

If you never registered the games and bought them elsewhere, then you need the serial code to register the games. Serial codes are on the game manual inside the case or in your email if you purchased any of them as digital downloads. You can don't have those things but have access to a computer where the game were originally installed and are still there, you can find the serial codes yourself: -Sims-3/FAQ-Lost-and-broken-DVDs-and-missing-serial-codes-What-to-do/td-....

They also came with an "Aspiration," an overall goal for their life: Family, Romance, Wealth, Popularity, Knowledge, and (eventually) Pleasure. Starting with the first expansion pack, this would assign the Sim a (randomly-generated) Lifetime Wish, which keeps them happy for the rest of their lives if they achieved it.

Fulfilling the Sim's lifetime wish would fill their Aspiration bar to the max for the rest of their lives, but (of course) you get a certain amount of time to do this before they croak. Meanwhile, personalities continued to be calculated on the five scales/star sign model, but gradually more features were added through expansion packs, such as the ability to gain or lose personality points under certain circumstances and the introduction of memories, turn-ons, turn-offs, attraction/chemistry, interests and hobbies. 2ff7e9595c
