There is no change in the process of submission of pf withdrawal application forms except that attestation by employer is not required in certain cases, as mentioned above. So the EPF Form 19 UAN, 10C UAN and 31 UAN may directly be sent by the PF Member, preferably by Regd. AD post, to the concerned Regional EPF Office. Also, you can follow up afterwards by sending scan copy in the email. Please note that earlier also this option was there but due to a common or traditional practice, the Employers were submitting the PF withdrawal forms after their internal attestation procedures.

There is no change in the process of withdrawal / advance from PF balance except that attestation by employer is not required in certain cases. So the EPF Form 31 UAN can be sent to regional EPFO for advance against PF balance as per applicable existing eligibility norms. Only difference is that such application shall be in Form 31 UAN instead of Form 31 and also without attestation of employer.

For part withdrawals or advance, Form 31UAN is to be filled up if AADHAAR Number and Bank details have been seeded as KYC and have been duly verified by the employer using digital signature thereof and the details in form No. 11 (new) have already been submitted with regional EPFO. In your case, it seems the process is not yet complete. This process has to be completed by the employer only, including using digital signature, etc.

I worked in a company from 2002 to 2004 and did not withdraw or transfer that PF to any of my next employer companies. Can I now withdraw this money using the new UAN based forms as I have an active UAN and it is verified with AADHAR etc? Also, do we have any UAN based transfer form for above type of situation ?

Withdrawal forms required to be submitted to same Regional Office where PF was deposited? In my case PF deposited in Mumbai Office, whether I can claim withdrawals from Bangalore Regional Office? Thanks

HiI have my UAN activated and KYC verified using PAN. I have not seeded Aadhaar or Bank details to UAN. Please let me know if i can withdraw PF without employer signature and which forms to use.

I had applied for pf final settlement online and verified my aadhar details through OTP. It was sent to field office on 25th July 2017 and the status is still showing as under process. I was going through online articles on online pf withdrawals and every where it shows the claims should be settled within 5 working days. When I called up the call center the update is the application is under process and it will take one more week. Please let me know the exact timeline for online withdrawal claims.

My father has retired in January 2018. he wants to claim his full PF amount from EPFO. when I login to the claim section I can only find the option of advanced PF ( form 31). Can someone please tell me the steps to claim full money after retirement (form 19)?

I worked in a company where PF is maintained in TRUST which is exempted. I want to withdraw my PF amount as I left the company for higher studies but amount still is held with TRUST. As this cannot be done online. Please let me know which form to fill and send to whom for PF withdrawal direct to my bank account?

In February 2017, the EPFO introduced a single-page claim form subsuming the erstwhile Forms 19, 10C and 31 for complete withdrawal, pension withdrawal benefit and partial withdrawals, respectively. But there are two types of composite form: Aadhaar and non-Aadhaar.

You can submit your claim online using the Aadhaar composite claim form. The online version will be pre-filled with your basic information since you would be able to access it only after logging in to the EPF member portal ( ). You will then have to select the type of withdrawal you wish to make.

Once you make your selection and are eligible for a particular withdrawal based on EPFO database, you will have to authenticate your KYC through an OTP. You will receive the password on the mobile number registered for Aadhaar with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

Nowadays it is mandatory to upload a copy of your cheque or passbook during the PF withdrawal. This is done to match your KYC details with your bank details and avoid bank frauds. Now you can either get a chequebook with your name printed on it or one without. If you upload the cheque without your name then that results in PF rejection since your name is not verifiable here. Hence for this PF rejection reason, either upload a cheque with your name on it or upload the front page of your passbook. But ensure that the passbook page has the same name and bank details as given in your KYC.

But generally in advance PF claim cases, this PF rejection reason may be valid. Thus, if you have given the reason for natural calamity, strike, factory log down, etc, then you need to attach these certificates A/B/C/D/E as well. These are small 2-3 line forms which you need to fill and submit to your PF office along with your passbook. Thus, it is advisable that you do not select these reasons altogether.

Here, maybe the employee has marked your date of leaving the company earlier and then made your contribution. Or it could even be a technical error. It is important that there is some contribution being made to your account every week, even if it is nil. If there is no contribution for any particular month, then it is not possible to file PF claim. To correct this error, the employee and employer will together fill a joint declaration form. State your correct date of exit in this form and submit it to the EPFO along with any documented proof which is required. Learn the process to fill out a joint declaration form in Joint Declaration Form for EPF Name, DOB, DOE Correction Offline Application.

Similar to the above PF rejection reasons, the employee and employer must submit a joint declaration form. The form needs to state the correct date of joining/date of exit of the employee. Submit the form to the EPFO along with any other documents required. This will resolve the PF rejection reason.

A minimum of 6 months of employment is mandatory to be able to apply for pension withdrawal. Before completion of 6 months, you can apply for Form 19 but not for Form 10C. You can learn more about pension withdrawal process in EPFO Pension Withdrawal & Calculation Formula.

This one of the PF rejection reasons states that if someone has just submitted the Form 19 then EPFO is rejecting their PF claim. Although there is no logical reason behind this, we recommend that if you wish to withdraw your full PF and pension amount, then from the drop-down list you should select Form 19 and Form 10C both. Just to be on the safe side. If you want to withdraw only PF amount then submit Form 19. And if you want to withdraw only pension amount then submit Form 10C. But looking at the rejection cases, it seems that the PF department may disapprove your case if you only fill up Form 19. Learn the uses of different PF forms in PF Form Types And Importance.

This one of the PF rejection reasons states that the employer has not submitted the contribution amount. Hence, the EPFO cannot approve your claim. There is not much one can do about this issue. Except to keep a regular check on their PF passbook. Whenever there is a discrepancy of over 2-3 months, then inform your employer of the same. This is the only way to avoid this PF rejection reason later on.

There may be cases where the names are different on Aadhaar and on the PF portal. This may happen due to various unforeseen reasons. You can easily solve this by submitting a joint declaration form along with an application. Ensure to write the reason behind your name difference in detail on this application. Additionally, request for your name to be corrected on the PF portal.
